Privacy Policy

The Future Traders Association (FTA) is a student-run organization that runs finance competitions, publishes student research, and provides financial education. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it.

Information We Collect

We collect the following personal information through our public forms:

• ·Chapter application: full name, email, school name, country, and role (student, teacher, or administrator).
• ·Venture Cup registration: team name, both team members' full names, emails, school and country, grade level, and how you heard about us.
• ·Research submission: full name, email, school or institution, research title, abstract, and a link to your paper.

We do not collect more information than is necessary to run our programs.

Fees

The Venture Cup is free to enter. We do not collect or process any payment card information.

Students and Minors

FTA is intended for current high school and college students. If you are under 18, please use our forms with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Because we may collect contact information from minors, we limit what we gather to what is needed to run competitions and programs, and we never sell anyone's data.

How We Use Information

We use the information you submit to process registrations, verify student status, run and judge competitions, review and publish research, communicate with you about deadlines and results, and maintain our chapter network. We may share submission details with judges or editorial reviewers as needed to operate a competition or review process, but only to the extent necessary.

Sharing and Retention

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers (such as our form processors) who help us operate, and with judges or reviewers as needed. We retain registration and submission records for as long as needed to administer the relevant program and for reasonable recordkeeping afterward.
